After a courageous two-year battle with cancer, Dolores passed away peacefully at her home in Thousand Oaks.

Dolores was born and raised in Chicago, IL, and graduated from Marshall High School. She was very athletic and frequented the YMCA often, where she met her loving husband of 60 years, Richard Valentine. She was one of two children born to the late Paul and Anna Gallo.

Dolores will forever be remembered by her devoted husband, Richard Valentine; beloved children, Laura Nielsen and Lynn Palomares; treasured grandchildren, Keith Palomares and Kristopher Palomares; great-grandson, Anthony Palomares, along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know her.

Dolores loved painting and gardening, being with her family, and having fun with friends.

Memorial services will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 5 at Griffin Family Funeral Chapel, 1075 E. Daily Dr., Camarillo; 482-1166.
