David C. Molina

Camarillo, CA

On July 15, 2017 at Community Memorial Hospital in Ventura, our beloved David was escorted by his special angel to a place where he no longer felt pain, fear or sadness.

David C. Molina was born December 13, 1941 in San Antonio, TX. He spent all of his childhood there. He came to California in 1966. David spent many years as a truck driver, printer (pressman), bus driver and as a bus driving instructor.

David was a big guy and was very strong, thus nicknamed “Big Dave”. He had a great sense of humor and to know him was to love him. He was envied by many for his gorgeous head of hair and rarely was a strand out of place.

David is survived by his wife and best friend, Margean Gauvreau Molina; son, George J. Gauvreau (Tannette); daughter, Theresa Gauvreau Minguez (Bill); grandchildren, Christopher Bilbee (Amy), Brandon Gauvreau, Aaron Minguez, Matthew Minguez; great-granddaughter, Sophie Bilbee; sister, Lily Molina; brothers, Leonard Molina, Henry Molina, Daniel Molina, Joey Molina, numerous nieces and nephews and a wonderful bunch of young people who gave David the privilege of watching them grow up and who adopted David as “Grandpa”.

The Molina family sends their heartfelt gratitude to vascular surgeon Li Sheng Kong for his tireless vascular efforts and for his kindness towards David. We would also like to thank Dr. Farzin Kabaei and all the wonderful staff at Community Memorial Hospital for their dedication and compassion. Thank you and may God bless you all.

There will be a memorial service for David at at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, September 24 at Griffin Family Funeral Chapels, 1075 E. Daily Drive, Camarillo. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Samaritan’s Purse at
